Norwegian, a leading Nordic airline, is further strengthening its operations at Stockholm Arlanda Airport (ARN).

The airline will launch a new direct route to Sharm el-Sheikh International Airport (SSH) in Egypt, effective winter 2025.

This addition complements the airline’s existing service to Hurghada, further expanding its Egyptian portfolio from Sweden’s primary aviation hub.

New Route to Sharm el-Sheikh

Sharm el-Sheikh, renowned for its sun drenched Red Sea coastline, vibrant marine life, and cultural heritage, is a sought-after destination for travellers seeking a warm winter escape.

The new route underscores Norwegian’s strategic focus on meeting the growing demand for international leisure travel from the Swedish market.

By offering direct access to Sharm el-Sheikh’s world class diving sites, stunning beaches, and historical attractions, Norwegian enhances Stockholm Arlanda’s role as a key gateway for Scandinavian travellers.

The airline’s expansion aligns with the increasing popularity of Egypt as a winter destination, catering to those pursuing sun, adventure, and cultural exploration.
